INTERESTS
My interests can best be described as
eclectic, adventurous, weird, spontaneous and people oriented.
I believe that this is a result of all
the people I have met through school, work, and social activities.
SHAD VALLEY
Shad Valley is an excellent
program that I attended in 1988 at the University
of New Brunswick. It was the second most influential experience of my life
next to University at it only lasted 4 weeks. I then had the privelege to return
to the program as Staff at Shad
Valley UBC and it was the best position I ever had.
MUSICAL THEATRE
I have done tons of musical theatre since high school and continued
at McGill with the Savoy Society. Later on
I started my own musical theatre society in 1995 with my friend Jamie Forsyth
- Markham Thespian Society.
OSCARS
I love movies. I also love pop culture and the whole entertainment
lifestyle. I keep tabs on it and enjoy the whole hoopla surrounding the Academy
of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and how emotional people get over the
decisions rendered by a mere 7000 people (which is about the size of my hometown
of Rothesay) . Every year I e-mail Oscar predictions to my friends and I do
pretty well. Someday I hope to have an actual contest online just for fun.
HOCKEY
I played street hockey when I was 4 years of age up until I
was 12 just about every single day. I have watched NHL
Hockey since the Montreal Canadiens beat
the Boston Bruins for the Stanley Cup in 1977. I also love entering hockey pools
in The Star and Sportsmark
and I always come close but never win (The best I did was 12th in Montreal out
of 40000) . I hope to run an online hockey pool next year by playoff time.
PEOPLE
Okay I know this is weird but I constantly think about people.
I enjoy watching them, talking with them, and learning from them. I have met
so many people over the years with whom I have lost contact with that it bugs
me because many of them were fantastic individuals. I cannot imagine a life,
personality or soul without my Mom, Dad, Bajj, Salman Bhai, Usman, Zubair, Syrah,
Asif, Nizakat Bhai, Asfiya Bhabi and the rest of my family, Maureen, Matthew,
Amanda, Karl, Rebecca, Isabelle, Ananda, Patti, Erica, Peter, Lorraine, Chris,
Kelly, Scot, Ted, Jamie, Patrice, John & Fatima, Lori, JD, Jason, Tim and
everyone from DeHavilland, Jaime and the rest of my Shad students, Aaron and
everyone from McGill Residence, Sandy and everyone from Savoy Society, Karla
and everyone from McGill Engineering, Cynthia and everyone from KVHS, Tracy
and all of my MTS exec, Hilding and every other person I have done shows with,
and finally all the people I met at parties or by chance, whenever or wherever
the universe unfolded before me. I am grateful and should you read this.....CONTACT
